Rock and Leigh were married Saturday at Fearrington’s Garden Terrace since the weather wasn’t very good for the outdoor ceremony. In any case, they were in great spirits when I arrived. Patrick Rock was entertaining folks for cocktail hour as I set up and got ready for my start time around 6:00. I introduced the bridal party to “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson and then Rock and Leigh went right into their first dance, Adele’s “One and Only”. I love that song.

After a welcome from the father of the bride and a blessing from the father of the groom, the food stations were opened. The food looked amazing and guests enjoyed themselves for about an hour. After dinner, the cake was cut to “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and then we had the parent dances. Leigh danced with her dad to “What a Wonderful World” and Rock and his mother danced to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. After those dances, we opened the dance floor…for three hours! These people were getting down and not once was there a lull in that room. It was rocking for three hours straight! The night ended with a big sparkler departure. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mills! I am looking forward to seeing the photos from Krystal Kast.
