Tiffany and Nate’s ceremony and reception both took place at the lovely Highgrove in Fuquay Varina, NC. It was a little warm, but so pretty outside when the ceremony began at 5:00PM. We provided a mic for the officiant and they picked out some great folk/American music choices. As the ceremony ended, guests made their way up the steps to the patio area for more music, drinks and passed apps.

Around 6:30pm, I introduced just the bride and groom into the room to Judah & The Lion’s song “Take it All Back”. Great song choice! They then did their first dance to “500 Miles”. Not the corny 90s version, but a really cool slowed down cover by Sleeping at Last. Loved it! Tiffany’s grandfather did the blessing and then dinner was served. As dinner wrapped, we did the toasts, the cake cutting to “Ho Hey” by Lumineers and then the parent dances. Tiffany and her dad danced to “Father Daughter Dance” by Craig Cardiff. Yes, that’s actually the name and it was pretty good to be honest! Next up, Nate and his mother danced to “93 Million Miles” by Jason Mraz, another great choice.

Finally it was open dance and at the first slow dance break we did the anniversary dance to “Unforgettable” by Nat and Natalie Cole. Later in the night, they opened an espresso bar, donut station and s’mores station! Sweets for days! What a great reception and I was so honored to have been a part of it! I can’t wait to see what Shelly with Hartman Outdoor Photo comes up with for pics!
