Channing and Tyler’s ceremony and reception both took place in Cary this past Saturday at the beautiful Prestonwood Country Club. They chose to have their ceremony inside (thankfully since it was cold) and then “flip” the room for the dinner and dancing. I provided the sound for the ceremony which was a little more complicated than usual in that I did the music, a mic on the officiant, a mic on Tyler, and two mics for the singers (who were awesome by the way). All in all, it went great and was a perfect start to the day! The guests were then led outside the ballroom while all of the vendors flipped the room. Gina and Megan with A Southern Soiree led the charge and it all got done in an hour and looked amazing once the guests came back in! Soon after, I introduced the couple and bridal party to “Feeling Good” by Michael Buble and then they went into their first dance “Hold On” also by Michael Buble. All 265 guests were so excited for this couple! After the first dance, the bride’s father welcome everyone and blessed the food. The dinner was awesome (I got to eat)! As dinner wrapped, it was time for the cake cutting and toasts, and then the parent dances. Channing and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and then Tyler and his mom danced to “A Mother’s Song” by T. Carter. After that, it was Party Time! These folks hit the dance floor from the first 20 seconds of “My Girl” and did not stop until the very end of the night! Wow, what a party!!! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller! I look forward to seeing the amazing photos from Azul and the film from Twenty One Films.
