Mallory and Elliotte’s ceremony and reception took place on New Year’s Eve! The evening started with the guests arriving to 214 Martin, a new venue in downtown Raleigh, for the ceremony. The black and white decor looked perfect for New Year’s Eve! For this part of the night, I did the music and the mics. They picked some great tunes for this part of the night including instrumental versions of “Who You Love” by John Mayer and “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. This was a beautiful ceremony! As soon as it ended, the receiving line started as guests made their way into Cobblestone Hall. Next up was the introduction! The bridal party came in to American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life” and then Mallory and Elliotte entered to “Love & Marriage” by Frank Sinatra. The guests went nuts when they came in! They went right into their first dance, a cover of Hall & Oates “You Make My Dreams” by Alex Paul. If you haven’t heard it, check it out, I loved it! Next up the father of the bride welcome everyone and the amazing food stations opened. Once everyone ate, it was time to move into toasts and cake cutting and then right into the parent dances. “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw for Mallory and her dad and “Better Man” by James Morrison for Elliotte and his mom. Once those were done, it was time for 2 plus hours of dancing! As 12:00am approached, we got everyone fired up, passed out favors, and then fired off confetti cannons at midnight! Happy New Year! After that, I played a few more songs and then we sent the newlyweds off with pom-poms! What a great way to end 2014. Shout out to the great team of vendors working with me-Viva L’Event, 21 Films and Robyn Van Dyke!
