Nikki and Eric had their reception and ceremony at Top of the Hill-The Great Room in Chapel Hill last Saturday. The day began with a short but sweet ceremony. The guests then made their way down the hall to The Back Bar while the room was flipped for dinner and dancing. That is when I snuck in and started my setup and got ready.

Nikki and Eric were the only two introduced and came in to “It’s Alright” by Matt & Kim and then went right into their first dance “Your Song” by Ellie Goulding. I think I love her rendition as much as Elton’s! Nikki’s father had a very funny welcome and then the buffet opened for the amazing dinner. As dinner ended, it was time for the parent dances. First, Eric and his mother danced to “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler. Next, Nikki and her dad started their dance with “Home” by Bonnie Raitt, but quickly transitioned into “Peg” by Steely Dan and asked everyone to get up and dance with them…which they did and from that moment on, it was party time. Eric and Nikki took at quick pause for the pie cutting, but then went right back to even more dancing! After that it was pretty much a rocking dance party until the end of the night. What a great reception and great way to end February! Congrats guys!
