A Gorgeous Wedding At The Fearrington
Kristin and Will’s wedding reception took place at the incredible Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC and I was thrilled to be their DJ. The day began with some classic rock cocktail tunes outside on the patio outside the barn. As guests made their way into the barn to be seated, I went outside to speak to the couple for a minute before introducing them. They came in to “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Timberlake and everyone was on their feet cheering! They immediately went into their first dance (always recommended). They chose John Legend’s classic “All of Me”.
Next, Kristin’s parents welcomed everyone, the blessing was given and the food stations opened up. As dinner wrapped, a couple of great toasts were given and then Kristin and her father shared a dance to Tony Bennett’s version of “Fly Me to the Moon”. This is much slower than Sinatra’s version, but it’s still awesome! Will and his mom danced next to “Days Like This” by Van Morrison (great choice). The dance floor then opened and it was on from Song 1! They only paused as we took was for the cake cutting to Roy Orbison’s song “You Got It”. The party continued after that all the way up to 11pm when we ended the night with everyone rocking to the same song we did for the intros, “Can’t Stop the Feeling”. As soon as the song ended, we sent everyone outside for the sparkler departure. What a night! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Dueker! I can’t wait to see the photos from Krystal Kast.
