Back at Fearrington again! This one for a Sunday wedding, but the good news is that since everyone was off on Monday for Memorial Day, it was rocking! Let me start from the top. The day began with amazing weather for their outdoor ceremony. The guests then made their way over to the patio outside the barn for cocktails and music provided by Ariosa Strings. I was all set up and waiting in the barn.

For the intros, we just did Alexis and Zach over top of Bruno Mars’ song “Marry You”. Once they hit the dance floor, they went right into their first dance (another first for me on this one) “We Walk the Same Line” by Everything but The Girl. Great song choice guys! The father of the bride stepped up after that to offer a toast and a welcome and then it was on to the seated dinner. I did get a chance to eat, and the food was excellent! After dinner, the sister of the bride gave an amazing toast and then Zach’s brother gave, well, uh, an interesting toast to say the least! I’ve seen it all! Before opening the dance floor, Alexis and Zach danced with their parents to “Over the Rainbow” by Brother Iz.

Then, party time! These folks came to get down! I was all over the map playing different genres and requests and stuff from the couple’s playlist, but it all seemed to click. People were digging it! Just before midnight, we rounded up everyone after the last dance for a big sparkler departure and sent them off the right way! Another Fearrington one in the books. Great times! I can’t wait to see the images from Our Labor of Love Photography.
