YoonHie and Robin’s reception took place this past Saturday at the always awesome Pavilions at The Angus Barn. I never get tired of working this venue! Amazing owners, staff and FOOD! Their ceremony had to be moved under the pavilion vs. by the lake because it’s been raining here for 2 weeks! It was still pretty though. Immediately afterward, the guests moved to the tented patio for cocktails and great apps. As that ended, I got the large wedding party lined up for their big intro to “Everlasting Love” by Natalie Cole, “Crazy in Love”, and the finally “Y’all Ready for This” for the bride and groom! What an entrance! The 250 guests ate it up!

YoonHie and Robin then went right into their first dance “Stand by Me” but played live by their friend Matt Kanon. He did a lovely rendition! Next, Robin and his mom and YoonHie and her Dad danced at the same time to “What a Wonderful World”. It was a great moment. The father and mother of the bride then welcomed everyone (in English and Korean!) and then Rev. Becky Sansbury (performing her final wedding that night) blessed the food. Dinner was served, and wow, what a buffet! I ate way too much to be honest!

After dinner, there were a few great toasts, a “silent” cake cutting and then almost 2.5 hours of non-stop party rocking! This dance floor was HOT all night long! The night closed out with everyone in a circle around the newlyweds singing James Taylor’s “Carolina in My Mind”. I will never forget that one! Wow! I am stoked to see the photos from Sara with Whitebox Photo. She does great work.
