Paige and Kristine’s reception and ceremony took place at one of Chapel Hill’s newer venues, The Barn of Chapel Hill. It’s gorgeous out there! The day started with an outdoor ceremony on a scorcher of a day, but at least it wasn’t raining! I provided the mics, while a couple of family members played the processional songs. One on guitar, one on keyboard. They were a great way to start the day! The ceremony went off without a hitch and then folks moved to the shade under the porch area for cocktail hour.

After cocktails, it was time to get guests inside for the introduction. I just introduced Paige and Kristine and then went right into their first dance “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray Lamontagne. This song is one of my favorites and never gets old to me. Next, Paige and her mother and Kristine and her dad danced to “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding (another amazing song). Dr. Falk, Kristines’ dad, gave a lovely welcome and then the food stations opened. As usual, my man Beau of Beau Catering crushed it. The food was amazing! As dinner wrapped up, the cake was cut as “Flowers in Your Hair” by The Lumineers played in the background. Next, a big group photo was taken which had everyone already on the dance floor, so of course, we went right into open dancing after that and from that point forward, the floor was packed and rocking!

The night closed out with a big sing-along of “Mr. Brightside” by The Killer and then a sparkler departure. It was an awesome wedding! Kast Events did an amazing job planning and Krystal Kast’sphotos are the best!
