Lindsay and Kyle had their ceremony on the lawn at Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh, cocktails inside the historic home, and reception inside the carriage house. They couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day!

The day began with us doing the music and mics for the ceremony outdoors. Guests then headed inside for cocktails as the reception area inside the carriage house was finished up. As guests entered and were seated, the bridal party was lining up for their big introduction to “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon. Kyle and Lindsay, being huge Virginia Tech Hokies fans walked in to “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. The whole room was jumping up and down! They then went right into their first dance, a beautifully choreographed number to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Lindsay’s dad welcomed everyone and the seated dinner began.

After dinner, there were a couple of toasts by the best man and father of the bride and then the cake cutting (“Honey Bee” by Blake Shelton” play in the background). Lindsay and her dad danced next to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland and Kyle and his mom danced to Shinedown’s version of “Simple Man”. As soon as that song ended, I went right into open dancing and these folks hit the floor hardcore! It was on! We only stopped briefly for the bouquet toss (“Single Ladies”) and garter toss (“Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen). Everyone packed the dance floor until the very last song at 11PM, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. What an awesome party! Huge shout out to C&D Events for planning it to perfection. I can’t wait to see the images that AJ Dunlap shot!
