Shanna and Curtis were married on a gorgeous Friday evening at Fearrington. Guests immediately made their way over to the terrace patio afterwards for cocktails and lovely classical tunes from Ariosa Strings. As the string quartet ended, I took over and played a mix of some great acoustic artists and my favorite Rat Pack tunes. Krystal Kast and Heart Stone Films wrapped up their pre-reception footage and it was then time for the introductions!

The bridal party came in to “Happy” by Pharrell and then I changed it to “I Think I Wanna Marry You” by Bruno Mars right when Curtis and Shanna walked in. They went right into their first dance (which I always recommend doing) which was “All This Time” by One Republic (great song choice) and then the father of the groom gave a welcome and the father of the bride a blessing. After that, the seated dinner was served. Wow! Amazing food including scallops and filet!

As we were between courses, we did the father/daughter dance to “My Girl” by The Temptations and then the mother/son dance to “Days Like This” by Van Morrison. Dinner wrapped up and we had one toast and our cake cutting and got into some great dancing before the sparkler exit. I can’t wait to see the photos and videos from this one! Great couple!
