Raleigh Wedding at Rose Hill

Lauren and Zach couldn’t have asked for a prettier day for their Friday Raleigh Wedding at Rose Hill (Click here to visit Rose Hill’s site)! They were married with the fountain in front of the original house as their backdrop. That was the first time I’ve seen this layout, but I loved it, mainly because I was out of the sun, ha! I provided the microphone for the officiant and they chose live musicians for the music. A great ceremony!

After the ceremony was cocktails on the back of Nathan Hall while I finished up last minute touches inside. The introductions were next. The bridal party entered to “Signed Sealed Delivered” by Stevie Wonder and then Lauren and Zach came in to “This Will Be An Everlasting Love” by Natalie Cole. Everyone went nuts. We knocked out the welcome and toasts first (a first for me), then the blessing was said before dinner came out.

After dinner, we picked it back up with the cake cutting and then the couple’s first dance, “Mean to Me” by Brett Eldredge. Lauren and her dad danced to “I Loved Her First” and then Zach and his mother danced to “The Perfect Fan”. After that song, we went right into open dancing for about two hours. We stopped briefly for the bouquet toss (“Girls Run the World” by Beyonce), but mostly it was just a great dance party. I have to give a shout out to the planners from B Events that came all the way down from Pennsylvania to help plan their friend’s wedding! In the small world category, I actually knew them from meeting them at Wedding MBA a couple of years ago!  I can’t wait to see the pics from Magnolia Photography!
