Taylor and Mary’s Wedding At Merrimon Wynne

Taylor and Mary wisely chose to have their wedding ceremony inside The Carriage House at The Merrimon Wynne House this past Saturday. Record setting temperatures could have started this day off on the wrong foot for sure! The first thing I said to her during the lineup for introductions was “You’re one smart girl!”. As the ceremony ended, I began loading in to DJ, guests went inside the main house for cocktail hour and the room flip began! One hour later, it looked totally different in there and was ready for some dinner and dancing!

The Introductions & First Dance

The bridal party made their entrance to “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars and Mary and Taylor came in to “Ring On Every Finger” by Locash. The guests were ready for their first dance to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line. After their dance, Mary’s father welcomed everyone and then Taylor’s grandfather gave a great blessing. Dinner buffet opened and as always, Rocky Top Catering did a fantastic job. As dinner was wrapping up, we knocked out the parent dances. Mary and her father danced to “Can You Feel the Love” by Elton John and Taylor and his mom danced to “Like Jesus Does” by Eric Church. Next, there were a couple of great toasts from the maid of honor and best man, and then finally, the cake cutting to the sounds of “Honeybee” by Blake Shelton. After that, it was time to dance. Mary and Taylor only gave me a few songs, so I just ripped through all sorts of stuff and from the first song to the last, these folks partied! The night ended with a big sparkler departure and lots of cheers. Great wedding! Shout out to Kristin and her team from Viva L’Event for keeping the event running smoothly and Photographs by Stephanie for taking some great pics!
