Finally I made it to the gorgeous Berry Hill in South Boston, VA! My guys have been playing there for years after getting tons of referrals from Rhonda that works there, but I never had been until 9/19. Wow, what a beautiful venue! The day began at the front of the plantation with an outdoor ceremony (where I provided the audio). The day couldn’t have been more gorgeous. In fact, not only was the ceremony outside, but so was the reception…totally under the stars.

After the ceremony, the guests made their way inside for cocktail hours while I made final preparations out back. After cocktails, I lined up the bridal party for their introduction. When Erin and David hit the dance floor, the crowd went wild as they went into their first dance “I Do” by Jessie James Decker. Great song! Erin’s father welcomed everyone and then the officiant from earlier blessed the food before dinner.

After dinner, Erin and her dad danced to “Stand By Me” by Imagine Dragons (great cover) and David and his mom danced to “What Would I Do Without You” by Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors (another great band). Three amazing toasts were given, the cake was cut and then it was time to party! These folks came to get down! I mixed a little bit of everything that night. What a beautiful wedding under the stars! I can’t wait to see the photos from Graham Terhune.
