Rock Quarry Farm – Chapel Hill, NC Wedding Venue
Heba and Greg’s ceremony and reception took place at Rock Quarry Farm in Chapel Hill, NC. This was my first time at the property, but hopefully not the last! It was amazing there. The ceremony was outdoors and we provided the music and mics. It was a little chilly, but an awesome start to the day. As guests left the ceremony area, they were treated to amazing apps from Beau Catering and live bluegrass music during cocktail hour.
The Dancing
After cocktail hour, guests made their way into the barn to begin the reception. I introduced just Heba and Greg to “Something Just Like This” by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers. Once they hit the dance floor, they went right into their first dance “A Sunday Kind of Love” by Etta James…a totally perfect choice for a Sunday evening wedding! Heba and her father then danced to Kenny Rogers’ “Through the Years” and then Greg and his mother danced to Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold”. I then turned the mic over to Heba’s mother who welcomed everyone to the event. Chef Beau did the “Beau Show” where he let everyone know about all of the great food we were having and then family-style dinner was served. There were tons of amazing toasts all throughout dinner, and then it was time to party! From the first to the last song, the dance floor was packed. I could feel that barn moving! What a great wedding! Shout out to the planners at C&D Events for doing such a great job with everything. I can’t wait to see the video from Heart Stone Films and the pictures from Krystal Kast!
