1. How long have you been a DJ?

DJ Joe Bunn has 19 years of experience. All DJ’s that work for Joe Bunn DJ Co. have 5-15 years of experience.

2. What type of equipment do you use?

We use only the top of the line professional DJ equipment. Pioneer, Denon and Numark CD players and mixers, QSC amplifiers, and JBL speakers. Lighting is by American DJ, Chauvet, and Martin.

3. Do you have any backup plans if something goes wrong?

All employees ofJoe Bunn DJ Company will know the other DJ’s schedules and will be able to react in the event that something goes wrong.

4. Will the DJ play requests?

DJ’s do take requests that don’t go against any of your special wishes for your event and that are appropriate for the particular event.

5. Do you play vinyl, mp3’s, or CDs?

CD’s are used by most of our DJ’s, but some do prefer using laptops with mp3’s.

6. Can we bring our own music for the DJ to play?

Sure! It makes the DJ’s job easier. Just make sure to consider the entire audience that will be at the event.

7. What are your payment terms?

We ask for a $200 retainer fee with your signed contract.

8. Do I tip the DJ?

We do not include gratuity on the final contract. 10%-20% is generally recommended if the DJ did a great job. It is totally up to you.

9. Will the DJ play overtime if needed?

DJ’s are able to play overtime only if they don’t have a later gig booked for that evening. The charge is $150 per hour overtime.

10. When should we book a DJ?

A good time frame would be at least six months before the event. However, we have DJ’s available to do last minute shows.

11. Should we feed the DJ?

This is up to you. Many times the catering director for your event will set aside a special meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client. If not, plan according to what the other vendors (photographer, videographer, etc.) are requesting.
