One of my other DJ’s, Randy Bennett, knew Frank way back in the day during the times when there used to be record stores on every corner. Both of them ran independent stores in the Raleigh area. But, I digress. Frank was born in Raleigh and grew up in Durham. He used to DJ middle school bus trips with a boom box and a box of tapes!! Later, he played drums in a high school rock band. For college, he decided to go to NC State where he would DJ at clubs and fraternity parties. Asked why he wanted to be a DJ, he writes, “I always loved music and wanted to get everybody dancing. Plus, I was the DJ because I always had the music.
After being “out of the game” for several years, Frank wanted to get back into the DJ industry doing weddings and decided to join the Joe Bunn team. He has several hobbies include sailing, movies, and daily dance parties with his two young children Julian & Chloe. Frank comments, “I look forward to making your event memorable. I like having the hard to find music that you want to hear”.
